We are good at the product – and we are fine with it. Give us a standard working procedure for any type of campaign, be it SEO, newsletter, PPC, graphic design, etc. – and we will create a team that will meet the required standard. We focus on the product, and we allow everyone to focus on expanding customers. Not only do we have one of the largest guest post networks (with excellent statistics – we recognize that customers can use all metrics, not every web site that offers offers for guest posts), but we make about 40-50% of all PBNs that people use today. Literally thousands a month – with all the crazy material requirements and services that come with it.
But before we got whitelisted through an industry standard for many gurus and marketing agencies, we were just a few people trying to find their place in the Internet marketing community. 98% of all Internet marketers resell or twist a product or service with their own unique bias – and we knew that if we were ever going to do Internet marketing for ourselves full time, this should begin.
And so, equipped with Google, some of the Blackhat and Ambition SEO forums, one before they had been marketing for ten years, and established the inevitable burnout – we decided to get our piece of cake from the SEO community.
Long story short niche edit is simply a new addition to any piece of content.
A writer or author submitted his script to agent and agent told him to fix the mentioned content, while fixing the author is actually making niche edits to his scripts, similarly If you are editing the content on your website after you’ve written the article days/weeks/months/years ago – whether for internal SEO purposes or because you’re paid for it – that’s a niche edit.
The person who invented the concept of niche edit is the one who edit his website content after it was written, with new information/links etc. Niche edit is just editing a piece of content something authors or writers invented before the Internet.
Although, we did invent the term. “Niche edits” is something we used to make ourselves unique – when “300,000 backlink tiered pyramids” were the standard, and people were still paying for posts ON PBN networks, not considering the link farms they were making. Customers were not realizing what made this kind of SEO different from a footer link, or some blogroll link – and we knew the quick and easiest way was through branding.
We learned from a friend who had used the term ‘linkwheel’ – which was just backlinking x amount of websites together in a circular path. Hardly the understanding of the century in regards to SEO, but the concept worked back then – and the coined term made an influx of not only the original inventor’s sales – but all the sales of everyone else who started using the term to sell their backlinks.
We realized what ‘linkwheels’ did for our friend – and we tried to come up with a unique term of our own. After thinking, ‘niche edits’ seemed like the most suitable natural term – since it wasn’t awkward on the tongue, and depicted what the product was – an edit on a niche relevant piece of content.
Hence the term was used and coined or invented. Niche edits were born.
We realized that under the sun there was nothing new. No matter how many new sales flows come out every week, promising some new kind of SEO through a multi-level structure, or structure, or pyramid, or wheel – all this is essentially the same thing
When you are aware that it is impossible to create a new link type or SEO type you try to learn from what is already working, and try to expand from that.
When we were most active in SEO, we were trying to rank hundreds of our own websites. Amazon affiliate websites, Clickbank websites, Forex/Diet private affiliate program websites, etc. When content was less important (pre 2017) – and a website’s SEO profile mattered a little more. If you were blackhat SEO – it was easy to crank out websites and rank them with high-volume spam packages for a few weeks at a time – banking for the time you’re at the top.
We didn’t use blackhat instead we did whitehat SEO (as white as can be anyway, outside of sitting there waiting for people to magically link back to your website because they stumbled upon your blog by magic) – we realized that the amount of work put into these affiliate websites wouldn’t be worth them ranking for a few weeks, and then being sandboxed.
That’s when we learned about our first SAPE network. It looks like a magical solution , it’s according to our needs but as we discovered it and began to work with it we began to face some issues
– The UI of the network was not very friendly
– The links were often ‘not SEO friendly’ – being in the middle of the page, or in the footer, etc.
– Because of the volume nature of the SAPE – many of the websites were just unaware they had basic code injected through their contact form or something of the sort = bad inventory.
At the start we tried to work with the network administrator by making contacts and working some sort of deals with them, but their attitude was not appreciable, they didn’t seems to be caring about accommodating anyone with any extra features outside of what they had already built.
At this phase we were looking for an alternative as previously discussed, we realized that if we can’t reach any sort of useful solution with this network, there were probably other smaller ones that would be much more customer-friendly and receptive to listening to customer feedback to shape their platform. If you can’t use Google, you use Bing, or any other search engine right? If you can’t get a decent up-time from Godaddy Hosting (no one can) – you switch to another company that can host your websites better, right?
On a parallel side – we started looking for SAPE network alternatives that had the same idea [as all successful ideas get copied] but with a different system, on blackhat forums and through good ol’ fashioned DuckDuckGo (which doesn’t censor results like the royal Google highness). After massive research, testing like half a dozen networks that declare to have large inventories and all sorts of features (and being scammed by 2 of them out of initial payments we got nothing back for) – we had found other networks that were smaller, but much more friendly in terms of hearing out the functionalities we need. They also came with APIs.
The APIs were pretty much according to our need. With a little bit more customization and overpriced coding, we were able to extract content right from the websites in the network – to categorize for niche relevance and ultimately tell us if an article was niche relevant enough to place a link on. Which, through our software coded towards these networks – make us able to submit a very specific order, not just to the website in the network – but right down to the paragraph we would like edited.
That is how we were able to create the system and process for the initial edits. The term was created after the product, mostly to differentiate the backlinks themselves from “spam blasts” and to combat the negative implications of the traditional SAPE network which everyone used to rank everything – but looked down upon in public. No one would realize that it’s “like a SAPE network but different” – because all they’d hear is SAPE and move on.
At Syndiket, we believe four types of SEO exist – and we have an acronym to represent those 4 types of SEO. The acronym is T.R.A.P.
“T” stands for Technical, “R” stands for Relevancy, “A” stands for Authority, and “P” stands for popularity. Search engine optimization has many smaller divisions within the 4 types, but all of them can be placed into one of these 4 buckets.
Generally, technical SEO for local businesses carry the least importance for ranking. Technical SEO has a bare minimum that is required and this usually includes things like site speed, indexation issues, crawlability, and schema. Once the core technical parts are done, minimal upkeep is required.
Relevancy is one of trivium elements of SEO. It has equal importance with popularity signals and authority signals. Relevancy signals are based on algorithmic learning principles. Bots crawl the internet every time a searcher has a search. Each search is given a relevancy score and the URLs that pop up for a query. The higher the relevancy score you attain, the greater your aggregated rating becomes in Google’s eyes. Digital marketing is a strange thing in 2020, and ranking a website requires the website to be relevant on many fronts.
Google’s Co-creator, Larry Page, had a unique idea in 1998 which has led to the modern-day Google Empire. “Page Rank”, named after Larry Page himself, was the algorithm that established Google as a search engine giant. The algorithm ranked websites by authority.
Every page of a website has authority and the sum of all pages has another authority metric. The authority metric is largely determined by how many people link to them (backlinks). The aggregate score of all pages pointing to a domain creates the domain score, which is what Syndiket calls “Domain Rating”, per Ahrefs metrics. The more a site is referenced, the more authority it has. But, the real improvement to the algorithm came when Google began to classify authority weight.
If Tony Hawk endorsed Syndiket for skateboarding, it would carry a lot more authority than 5 random high school kids endorsing Syndiket. This differentiation in authority happened in 2012 with the Penguin update. Authority SEO is complicated but VERY important.
Popularity signals are especially strong for GMB or local SEO, but popularity and engagement are used for all rankings. The goal of this signal is for Google to verify its own algorithm. You can check off all the boxes, but if your content is something real people hate, Google has ways to measure that. Syndiket has proprietary methods of controlling CTR (click-through rate) but we also infuse CRO methods into our work to make sure people actually like the content. Social shares and likes are also included in this bucket.
At the moment, this is exactly what happened to us for every company in the world that does not sell some unique invention, which is nowhere else. We could not sell the product. What we spent all the time on developing the platform – and KNEW was an effective SEO product from personal testing on their sites.
How do you introduce your product out in the market that you’re aware will help people – in a marketplace full of noise?
Everyone in the market was advertising like “best backlink” ever and “best SEO” blah blah. We believe that we have created something that is really cool that could make a lot of money. But when everyone is screaming that their service is the best it’s not easy to differentiate yourself from others and claiming to be best as well.
We did not want to give too much of our process, let’s face it, any intelligent marketer you respect will spend 4-5 hours researching and deeply exploring such networks (even using us). The network will be done -). What will be our direct competitor) – and build an equally intelligent system. As for us, we paid too much for coding and created a number of links that were from our own — networks that were SAPE links, or PBNs, or something like that.
So what have we done? In the infinite superiority of our knowledge, we turned to the people we saw selling the product and asked them to sell our product. We realized why focus on generating traffic – if these people are already doing this, and give it to our product, as well as to the people who they already do?
Some of the joint ventures we created to resell to sellers were successful. There were no others. We never tried to find some kind of magic formula to find intermediaries or companies who want to put an SEO whitelist on our list.
As the company grew slowly, and we could protect sellers, we developed packages from our products to make them simpler and more attractive for suppliers, complementing niche editing with a complete set of SEO products. They began to focus more and more. They were fully equipped on their own, which eliminates the need to take care of the quality guarantee and product lead time.
It became simpler and easier, because we really had to put our foot on the door, which is unique, something unique, (in this case, editing a building’s niche) to show the quality of our product and, ultimately, the main directions. You can go to our services to convince them / give us a whitewash.
Throughout this journey – we made our share of mistakes. In the end, it started with a few people who were trying to stay away from internet marketing. There is no big budget, no network of university graduates that would guide us at every step, nothing. We definitely screwed up several times – and we recommend that you learn from our mistakes!
We never made it clear to our customers that our changes in niches are “like SAPE networks” links that we collect using super-detailed software, and that the APIs from these alternative networks allow us to analyze these websites. Gift for We can make quantity / niche specifications.
Essentially, we don’t need to worry about link injection and SEO spam on such networks. One of the things we worked on was reverse engineering the smart client of our process and creating a store to compete directly with us. Remember, we don’t have any guru endorsements or known reviews – and everyone is already using these networks. We are rebranding a well-known type of SEO – with a unique rotation to justify profit.
As the number of niches we sold increased, we realized that a randomly hacked / embedded website on these networks could create problems for the client because they know little about it. That they pay for hacked SEO links when we order. This is from the network.
However rare it may be, the number of such sites in these networks has increased, which further increases the problem. That’s why we decided to understand the whole history of editing niches and where they come from. However, there is nothing that would stop SEO-sellers from doing some research and finding the same networks (which, we believe, many already have few, and people buy niche edits from us. More and more niche edits). Services / flows entering the market – clearly verified people who want to sell SEO, are not stupid and tie the dots themselves) – we believe that our customers enjoy the service / quality that we provide There are not going to troll through the SAPE network options, and all go through an unusable user interface. And save a few dollars by placing useless data orders yourself.
We made false claims to resellers to get them to resell niche edits.
At first (and in an allegedly irresponsible manner) – we were quite aggressive in negotiating or contacting suppliers to resell our product. We would explain a lot to resellers to hear them in order to get our link. In our opinion, while the quality of service and goods is good – and their customers do not want reimbursement depending on the quality of the goods, the seller will not care anyway. Not to mention the fact that today all marketing is mainly intermediary companies and markup levels. We did not feel like we were doing something with anyone else at that time. Initially, we felt that the goals were right because we were SEO experts and others were SEO sellers or customers who had more budget than SEO knowledge.
So, when sellers asked if these links were black in any way, we did not tell them the nature of the link. We wanted them to try first and then buy / not buy. Try the book before judging the cover. If the seller feels that he needs a specific type of backlink – either we try to convince him to try our link instead of his link, or, after doing a little research, they will lie to him that these links were what they were looking for. Because, in the end, once again – we wanted them to try them, and if they liked it, nothing else mattered.
We had requests from suppliers and customers to get “cracked niches” – in many cases, to save money or get a large number of links to pennies. Initially – we lied to them and told them that this is the link that they wanted (if the prices match), because our arguments were that if their customers liked the link, the seller would not care if they were not hacked. They just wanted cheaper links to be sold to customers.
In fact, after the famous event of 2017 with one of the resellers, we realized we wanted to say something about persuading link sellers. We stopped doing this once we realized we could do it like a naive without context. It’s like making a mockery of bad profit. We understand well, but we understand how inaccurate this is. We can apologize for this and act transparently for our suppliers and customers.
We’ve been lazy about monitoring the networks we use ourselves, we thought it was their job.
When we first got a few networks that we worked with, we were very excited. We thought that we had achieved something that people would not be able to achieve for years- and we are not mistaken.
For many years, everything was wonderful: the accidental failure of an unknown webmaster in one of these networks expressed his concern to us, and we reported our website on the network so that no one else uses it.
lately however, with the rush of SEO spam and injections and vulnerabilities – combined with the fact that we are focused on the actively growing generation of content in our company and optimization of guest publishing. Yes, we neglected random random checks. The quality of the link itself is ordered.
For this – we are very sorry for our customers, and all we can say is that it requires reminders in such a way as to keep the company in the know. We do not want to compare ourselves with Walmart and McDonald’s – but every growing company that deals with quantity sometimes spoils and accepts a batch of chicken nuggets made from pigskin. This happens, and all we can do is do our best to fix the problems and prevent them from recurring.
Originally – utilization / analysis of software information and ordering niche employees to search for niche websites and articles – were in different departments, and the employee did not have the opportunity to find out if they were looking at suspicious websites. Since we checked random places in the daily tasks / duties of our employees – which allows them to solve numerous problems from the owner of the website or blacklist and report websites to the network before customers behave too maliciously. / Missing / etc. backlinks.
Not thinking ahead.
It is unbelievable that someone created a term or phrase and claimed that he would control its use.
We didn’t expect that people would start using the term to sell just about every kind of spam available in SEO today. We coined the term niche edits to be what they were – edits we place in articles for SEO benefits. Not hacked links, or any negativity like that. Think of the term Swastika, it’s an important Sanskrit symbol and it’s being used in India commonly, yet it was used by the person who wanted to wipe out an entire race.
Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about it. Previously, we would have provided niche edits for a good market share in the SEO community, but today 9 out of 10 niche edits that are being sold on the internet are not ours. We do not know what it is, and we cannot be held responsible for them, because people can give any name to any kind of backlink that they can sell – whatever its nature.
Even today, when we think about what we can do to protect the meaning of a word, we cannot think of anything. “Niche editing” is no more a trademark than a “link wheel” – and, fortunately, it is trying to apply this trademark when it is distributed from the Internet to customers of sellers – all over the world.
That is all we can say, as mentioned above, it’s similar to the concept of hot tub and Jacuzzi. All Jacuzzi are hot tubs but not all hot tubs are Jacuzzi similarly the niche edits that we are selling are niche edits but SEO products that are being sold in the name of niche edits are not niche edits at all you can call it anything but not niche edits.
Not thinking ahead, part 2.
Over the past year or so – as we began to scale our individual reach processes, we created campaigns to generate niche changes in our relationships with webmasters. When someone can understand the concept of paying for posting an article on their blog, they can understand the logic of editing some old article that they don’t need, and they are being paid for it.
Fortunately, our database is growing, and we can provide safe and reliable editing of niches for clients.
Unfortunately, this is what we had to start many years ago, and therefore we would be able to perform every order steadily with our original niche edits sources from the networks.
This is what we are working on, which, combined with our increased vigilance for randomly checking sites on these networks, should still make editing niches safe and effective for our customers.
Having experience battling with more than 1000 PBNs and websites; have been fighting malware and hackers for many years, we host and serve our customers, and more recently, poorly coded plugins, database violations, and the general condition of the Internet. We decided to provide our services to the community!
We’ve been planning an all-in-one diagnostic auditing, fixing and monitoring service. You don’t need to go to others everything will be provided from one place. This is a complete in-house service that successfully identifies the primary and secondary basic cause of any website hack, does a complete clean-up/removal of the surface and root causes and sets protective measures from having such a hack happen again. From the issues we see daily – our service comes at a perfect time to help people stop worrying about whether the next time they update their plugin, or make an account on some forum – that they won’t be hacked, breached and exposed.
We are also trying to make it available to any of the website free of cost that we discovered to have security issues
Just email us at serpninja[at]fastmail.com and we will restore your website free of cost!
We can end this epic story by promising you saying clichés like “we’ll do better” or that “we won’t be evil” like some companies do today. You know the names. But in reality – we ARE doing better, not to show off on the world platform – but for our customers. Without our customers, we will be nothing, we’d all be selling burgers, and working at retail stores. We understand the lifeblood of our business, the happiness of our customers – so in the end, we always try to give them the best of us and will leave no stone unturned in our performance.
But from now on – we will do the best at protecting the rest of the Internet. Not just our clients, but everyone else that needs help with their website security.
