What Is Canonical Url

If you are using a template with a file link, then you will notice that the canonical URL of that file link would not be pointing to the current webpage. This is due to the meta tag in the URL that is canonicalization that might not be pointing to the same webpage as the other links. In order to fix this issue, you will need to have rel canonical tags and a meta tag or two. These are part of the meta information that is included in the meta tags of your page. It would also be important to have an active real link since this would cause the meta tag to get updated when the original link changes.

The code is actually very simple and you could do this by simply locating the reference that is in the site url and referencing it. In order to get this to work, you would need to change the references inside the Meta tags in the URL and the canonical url must still be the same. To be able to make these changes, you will need to be using a web editor. It will also be important to have the right coding since it is also important for your website’s search engine rankings.

In order to add this content to your website, all you will need to do is go to the URL and simply add the code. This can be done in the HTML editor provided on the Dashboard. To have the page to have more links, you can add another meta attribute that is called rel link which will allow you to find the links with the new canonical tags. So if you want to know how to add new canonical tags and meta tags, then all you have to do is find out the URL tags and the code to modify them.
