Diastasis Recti Content Hub Launches for Restore Your Core

Lauren Ohayon’s Holy Shift Yoga has a new name to act as the flagship brand. Restore Your Core or RYC is the new branded site that contains all of the helpful guides on pelvic floor issues and diastasis recti. Lauren is an award-winning yoga instructor and a decade long educator on diastasis recti and pelvic floor issues. Her Facebook group has over 20,000 active members and she has even begun to teach others to become diastasis recti certified teachers.

What is Diastasis Recti?

The core service offered by Restore Your Core focuses on repairing the body after diastasis recti. Diastasis recti can affect women or men but it is most common in postpartum women. A gap between the midline of the belly causes the abdominal organs to no longer have the support they need.

What is RYC

According to Lauren Ohayon, in her Diastasis Recti content hub, she lists 7 reasons for diastasis recti:

  • Frequent or rapid changes in weight
  • Weightlifting
  • Certain core exercises
  • Underlying Abdominal Illnesses (i.e. stomach cancer, or cirrhosis)
  • Obesity
  • Multiple pregnancies

How did RYC begin?

Lauren launched RYC® in December 2015 as the most organic of online programs: no advertising, paid SEO or paid/partnered content. What she did have was a smattering of devoted clientele in varied global regions where she personally taught her safe, alignment-based approach to yoga and pilates. Blessed with a nomadic spirit, Lauren led classes in her native New York, India, Israel and throughout Europe before settling in Miami.

How To Fix Diastasis Recti

On the Restore Your Core Site, this is what you’ll read from the course page:

“When you have a diastasis recti, pelvic organ prolapse, an unstable core, incontinence, back pain, or postpartum injuries, your body is already dealing with extra stress.
